Dear Parents/Carers,

Year 6 Residential trip to Norfolk 2021

We are happy to inform you that we are arranging a residential trip for our Year 6 children to visit Norfolk, next term. We plan this with a positive outlook that Covid-19 will be under control and we can resume normal activity. The trip is arranged for Monday 18th October – Thursday 21st October 2021 and the children will stay for 3 nights in a stately house called The Pleasurance.

The trip will be a fantastic and unforgettable experience and will provide the children with a range of adventurous outdoor activities to bring learning to life and will bring out the best in each of the children. The children will experience a large range of activities such as: Twilight safari; walk to the beach; coach trip to West Runton; nature trails; monster trail; bingo night; disco and many more – mostly set within beautiful secure accommodation or accessed by our own sole use coach. Children will be challenged and they will learn new skills, such as how to work as a team and communicate with each other to accomplish tasks and develop their personal skills of confidence, resilience and self-motivation. They will return having had a wonderful experience, inspired and an overwhelming sense of achievement! They will learn table manners, how to make their beds and how to help and support their friends.
